Monday morning ... and all is quiet ...

Monday morning ... usually a rush. Trying to get the week started after the weekend.

But not this Monday. I got Bub up at the normal time and instead of reading as he usually does, he crawled onto the couch where I was sitting. He snuggled in under the blanket, told me he was cold and wanted to cuddle. In moments he was back asleep in my arms.

Now I knew that we should get moving .... but I did nothing. Nothing but snuggle him. Listen to his deep breathing and sweet sighs. I thought about the things we did together when he was younger and boy, do I miss those days. But then I thought about the things we do now, the interests we share, our relationship .... made my heart smile. I prayed for him.

Not often do we get time like that and I wanted to take advantage of it. We snuggled, he slept for a good long time.

Hes growing up (too fast I might add!) but he's still my little boy ....

Oh yeah, and he won his basketball playoff games this weekend! Now onto the championship next Saturday. He played hard ... his whole team did ... he was determined ... they all were ... he fought til the end ... every boy did ... and it paid off! They won with under 10 seconds to go!!!
