Life's little surprises ...

Potato .... Pota(ah)to
Tomato .... Toma(ah)to

We can be so judgmental towards others, in what they say, believe, do ... their priorities. Perhaps different from our own, but does it make them wrong?

Acceptance ....

Life would be a bore if we were all the same. Celebrate the differences ....

Just a thought ....

Life has been anything but a bore as of late.

My head has been swirling with photography. A possible new venture has come up. Nothing to speak of yet, but we'll see. I have also been working on my website as well as keeping up with a few current clients.

Last weekend started with a bang. Friday morning started normal .... getting kiddos up, fed, ready for school. After taking Bub to school, Pie and were on our into town for her pre-school field trip. We were making tee shirts. And that's when it happened. In an instant, and I mean instant, I was struck with the stomach flu ... chills, body aches and a very upset stomach. Being in the back of an enclosed warehouse with 20 4-year-olds is not where you want to be when you realize you have to throw up! I made my escape. Without a restroom in sight, I walked right out the door and headed for the car. Then I thought "I can't throw up in the car." (Especially since it wasn't even my car! I still had my moms' car from the night before when we had to transport Bub's basketball team to the high school.) So I did the next best, and only thing ... I kneeled down, leaned into the gutter and threw up! Certainly not a shining moment for me ...

After I gathered myself, I went back inside, finished the field trip with my daughter, came home and went straight to bed for the day. Thank goodness for moms. Mine came over and took over so I could do just that. And my sweet kiddos just wanted to take care of me ...

Although I didn't feel great all weekend ... life beckoned ...

Bubs' basketball season is winding down ... but we did make the playoffs. So after a week of hard practice, we will spend most of this weekend in playoffs.

And hopefully a long run and some down time ... but we shall see.

Happy weekend!
