Easter ...

Easter ... Thankful for so many things. First, for my Savior ... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13). Without him I can do nothing. He is my rock ...

My family ... my husband who is of strength and righteousness. He knows me so well ... my strengths and my struggles, my hopes, my heart. My kiddos ... growing up Godly. I just love watching them, making choices, knowing right from wrong, and becoming individuals. 

They are my joy ...

The friends and family that are in our lives.  They are gifts ...

Easter Sunday started with an outdoor church service. And it didn't rain! The day was lovely. The most beautiful day we have had this spring. (Since then, we are back to rain). 

So spent the rest of the day at my parents house. We love going there. It's peaceful. There are no expectations, no agendas. Just us, being together. We had an easter egg hunt in the field, a relaxing afternoon, and a meal.

Making birdhouses ...

Even our dogs enjoy the field. The run and run and run.

Bub

And I guess it wouldn't be our kind of day without doing our sort of things .... Bub climbing trees and shooting his air soft gun.

So this picture we took of Bub with his Grandma is a redo, so to speak, of the identical photo taken when Bub was about 2 years old. His favorite thing to do was walk the circular driveway while holding his Grandma's hand. She still has that image framed and on the bookshelf.
