Sixteen years ago today I married my soul mate ...
Fifteen years ago we did it again (but that's a different story!) ...
Today we celebrate 16 years together .... to think back, to look at us now .... it amazes me where we've been, where we are, and where we are headed!
Our family is the world to us. We love to simply hang out with the kiddos ... play, teach and rest ... doesn't really matter what we do, as long as we are together. And as all parents do, we make sacrifices for the kids. And that's ok, no complaints. But at the same time I never want to forget "us" ... our friendship, our love, our secrets, our story.
The day will be normal ... work, school, kiddo activities .... BUT .... even its late this evening when all has settled down, we are headed into town for a simple, quiet dinner. Just us. Nothing fancy. Nothing crazy. But it's "us" and I love that!
