Ok, so we got home from our city adventure, three extra kids in tow. Still a week to go on my own with the kiddos. So what do you do? Add in some neighbor kids and have a party ... a kid party. And it lasted for a full week!
Slumber parties, swimming, forts, more swimming, Lego cities, bb guns, lizard hunting, even more swimming, ice cream sundaes, movies.
Late night swimming, sleeping in, carefree, no schedule ....
That's what summer is all about. At least this past week .
The kiddos had a blast with friends and cousins. And I do love being surrounded by the kiddos ... and letting them just enjoy.
But when the week came to a close it was time to get back to normal. Kids were tired. I was tired.
Now onto a new week. Quiet time, family time. New summertime adventures ...
Pie and Bub are picking fresh blueberries to go with our homemade waffle breakfast!
