Winter is in full swing. It's been pouring, cold and gray .... but truthfully, I enjoy this time of year. A good resting time so to speak. I just love hanging out by the fire, drinking tea ... so nice.
I have been running a lot lately. And I am hooked! Ran 7 miles in the pouring down rain last weekend. And I can't wait to do it again. I've committed to a 10 mile run in April (not knowing if I can even run that far). I'm certainly not in it to for time, just to finish. Well see ...
Work has been slow, as it always is this time of year. I find myself busy with the kiddos though .... basketball (I am one of my son's coaches!), guitar, ballet, schoolwork, the usual.

My girl is growing so fast. And certainly her unique personality is shining through.
Oh, does my girl love to use her imagination. She spends most of her days creating stories, characters and outcomes. And of course, she (we) then play them out. Whether its with babies or dollies or stuffed animals, she is a natural story writer and director. She a performer. She loves to sing and dance. And dress the part. Art, fashion ... she is my creative one.

Easy going, go with the flow personality ...
She recently told me a story about overhearing two little boys whisper about her at preschool and laugh. When I asked her what they said, she explained, that while sitting at the snack table one boy whispered to the other, "Look, she has really fat cheeks." Then they both laughed.
I asked her what she thought about that ans she answered, "I just let it flow Mom. Flow down the river."
