Parenting is such an awesome and interesting job .... perhaps one that I will never master, but one that keeps me striving. The last few days have been somewhat of a challenge. I feel like we're being tested. Nothing terribly traumatic, but enough for me to stop and think. Life is about choices made, the outcome of those choices and the consequences to every action. As all parents, I want to do my absolute best in raising and teaching my children to know right from wrong and to make the right choice. Sometimes the lessons are hard. We've had a couple of situations as of late that we've dealt with, talked through as a family and prayed about. Lessons learned. Choices made. Right choices. It's been awesome to watch my son question, ponder, learn and grow from each experience.
The kids helped get the entire garden in, from hauling and shoveling dirt ... which my son took quite seriously ... to planting our seeds and starters. They water and have to check it out each day. They love being involved and now have a vested interest in the outcome. And now are ever so anxious ... especially my little one ... for the harvest!
We reap what we sow ....
