Summing up the summer ... so far, that is!

Kiddos sleeping in, sleeping hard and peacefully after long days of play. Swimming. Playing in the sand.

Late evenings of bike rides, scooter rides and just hanging out in the neighborhood. Movies. Ice cream.

Laughter. Creativity.

Spend the nights. And I have to say it all usually takes place at our house. Or sleeping at grandparents house ... in the fort!

I want my kids to enjoy summer. And be kids. All to soon they grow up. And while we still mix in responsibility, I want them to enjoy and remember this time. I want to remember this time. This summer.

I know how much I love my children ... yet what comes to mind is knowing how much I love my children, just how much more does God love His children. Hard to wrap my brain around. Doesn't mean it comes without struggles. We all have them ... I do. Jesus says to cast our burdens on Him.

Friends ... family.
Cool breezes in the morning and evenings.
Bbq's.

Live life to the fullest. Enjoy the simple moments summer can bring ... Off to enjoy ours.
