A new year, a new beginning. I'm not one for resolutions so to speak, but I do like to look ahead and place a few goals for myself .... personal, work, home.
I like to pick a word and let it speak for itself. 'Grace' is one word for this new year. Being a graceful women. Showing grace. A graceful heart. A graceful attitude. A graceful word. I simply like the word.
My other word for 2012 is 'Mary.' A reminder to always have a 'Mary' heart. No matter the circumstances or the craziness that a day or season bring, to enjoy what's important (as Mary did when she sat at Jesus feet).
After a quiet day, we ushered in the New Year with family, friends, food, and fun. (and even a handful of fireworks left over from the 4th of July). I am grateful.
2011 brought us some ups and downs as well as many of changes .... It taught us to pray and to trust, to love deeper, to accept, and to be others centered.
Looking forward to a 2012 .... a New Year and new possibilities ....
Peace to all .... and Happy New Year
