Our last few summer days have been spent at my parents home, pool, field .... a vacation in our own town. The dogs get run and run and run, while the kiddos spend endless days in the field. Bub and his grandpa are building a fort, a tree house without a tree. Not only will the it be an awesome place to hang out and have sleep overs, but it's a bonding time for the two. And I love it! They have decided what and how to build, shared ideas, young and old. Bub is learning new skills. And my dad is enjoying teaching, guiding and sharing stories of his own boy hood.
I love the peace of summer ...
