A New Year ...

WOW! It' hard to believe that 2011 is here. 2010 went by in a flash. Too fast! But a New Year always feel like a fresh start ... there's a newness, a peace, new goals, new sights.

2010 was an amazing year. It was awesome to see the growth in each of us, as individuals, as a family. There were good and no so good moments, (mostly good though I must say). Changes in relationships, both family and friendships. New desires and directions for my business.The kiddos growth was both physical and spiritually. So cool to watch, be a part of.

Bub , a 5th grader, now loves school. Thrives. This past year has been somewhat of a transformation ... simply growing up a bit. He is a neat person. Sensitive. Understanding. A real goof ball. He's comfortable with who he is. Confident. I love just hanging out with him, playing games, reading, chatting. I have watched grow spiritually .... praying and really understanding the Lord and his relationship with Him. My relationship with Bub has also grown, deepened. Early on last year I felt like we struggled, had a hard time communicating. After much prayer, our relationship has been renewed. for thank, I am thankful!

Pie, oh my sweet Pie, she is just a sweet baby girl. I guess I shouldn't call her a baby anymore. She's not. And this past year she has come into her own. She's still the girl who loves to snuggle and be, simply be ... but she also has become outgoing, a little leader, with clear ideas of her own. her personality shines ...

For me, this new year will be about grace ... living a grace-filled life. Relationships. Living every moment fully.
