A quiet morning of reflection ... of random thoughts.

I am so thankful to have a husband of such integrity ... one who is committed, faithful and true to his faith, his family, all that he does.

To have kiddos running about the house ... giggling, playing, leaving trails of destruction behind them. Life would truly be boring without them!

My photography business is 10 years old ... Wow! It's hard to believe I have been in business that long. In 10 years I have photographed so many infants, kiddos, families and weddings ... even the kiddos from years past, that I'm now shooting their weddings and babies! It's been amazing ... I'm excited to see where the next 10 years takes me.

Time flies ... Just looking at my own children, all the stages, the growth. Oh how I wish time would stand still, but at the same time, each season with them is a new adventure. My role with them is ever changing, ever exciting.

But change can be so overwhelming ... it usually is for me. Whether it be change in the kiddos, my business, or a change of seasons in our lives, change is hard, even when it's for the better.

I pray daily for peace and patience ... to be a wife, mother, daughter, friend ... woman ... of grace. And gracefully handle whatever comes my way.

Onto the day ... with a peaceful heart.
