Life has been full the last week. School is back in full swing. Work has certainly kept me busy. Sports, music, home ... the list goes on.
But it's all good.

Especially to find such sweet notes from my kiddos. Thought up, hand written and given out of love. What beautiful hearts they have. I simply can't wait to be served breakfast in bed!

Even during the fullest of days, we always make sure to have fun. Whether its homework, errands or chores, my lesson for them (and quite often myself) is to find the joy it what is going on at the moment, and to do that one thing with all your heart. There's a joy, a satisfaction when you do.

I love coming to the end of the day, kids asleep, the house is quiet, and knowing I have done my best in all I have done. Its something I encourage in them.

Reminds me of the passage ... "Well done good and faithful servant."

I see the effort my son puts into all he does and the joy in his heart. By evening time, when school, homework, guitar and a 2 hour football practice is over, he is, more often than not, feeling great about his day. And its such a pleasure to relax and chat with him.

But no matter how crazy a day gets, they always find time for play and laughter. Usually right in our own backyard! Simply a time to be.

And sometimes in the midst of a crazy day, a little laughter, a little time, goes a long way ...

Peace ...
