Summertime fun ...

The play has been non-stop for the past three weeks .... friends, family, company. The kiddos have had a blast.

Now we're back to just us.

We have had a quiet few days now. Quite a bit of the time we have spent in our new so-called fort. Really just the top portion of a wooden play structure that was given to us. What a blessing. We have spent the breezy afternoons reading books and playing games up there. Even a meal or two.

The kiddos are truly enjoying summer. Watching them play, read, or do whatever games they have created, they truly live in the moment. Not fretting over the yesterday or thinking about tomorrow. Just the moment ... to the fullest. I can learn so very much from them. Wonderful and humbling all at the same time.
